SetForth, LLC. (FORTH®) is an administrative services and technology company focused on supporting businesses and consumers in the debt relief and financial services space. We build secure, compliant platforms and processes that facilitate client workflows, consumer interactions, payments, and more. The Manager, Business Analysis (BA-M) plays a strategic leadership role within our Product Team. This position is responsible for the holistic development and oversight of the Business Analysis function within the Product team. Through a hands-on approach, the Manager focuses on scaling the team, optimizing delivery velocity, and driving high-impact results by developing talent, removing obstacles and elevating performance standards across the department. This is a player/coach role where the manager is expected to be working with the team on projects and initiatives on a day to day basis while simultaneously developing and growing the capabilities of the function.

Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Driving Results

  • Executive Strategy: Experience presenting and communicating with senior management/executive leadership in both strategic and tactical discussions around core functions and processes of a Business Analysis function/team.
  • Stakeholder Alignment: Negotiates plans and timeframes in coordination with other product, engineering and business leaders to set and manage delivery expectations.
  • Problem Solving: Demonstrates systems, strategic and critical thinking abilities to creatively solve time-sensitive and complex business problems and communicates the vision to lead teams of BA’s to drive solution execution and delivery.

Team Growth and Development

  • Leadership & Motivation: Uses prior management skills and a player/coach approach to lead, facilitate, motivate, and guide staff towards delivering results.
  • Talent Management: Responsible for recruiting, hiring, and onboarding top-tier talent to build a high-performing Business Analysis organization.
  • Change Management: Demonstrates the ability to adapt and lead change as required by the needs of a growing organization.
  • Best Practices: Evangelizes and serves as a thought leader for current industry standards, trends, and best practices that grow and improve the BA function. Responsible for operationalizing, implementing and integrating these best practices and processes in a compliant and scalable manner.

Performance Monitoring and Velocity

  • Process Evolution: Leverages prior expertise and industry best practices to provide recommendations to senior leadership regarding the evolution of systems and processes related to the BA team function.
  • Capacity Planning: Collaborates with Product Owners & Project Management staff to manage and communicate team capacity and resource allocation to set accurate delivery expectations.
  • Impact Analysis: Responsible for managing staff in determining how projects and requirements will affect current business and systems and creating the necessary artifacts to communicate this impact to stakeholders
  • Documentation Standards: Oversees the creation of processes and systems to maintain comprehensive documentation and archiving of requirements, ensuring clarity and traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Perform daily duties in line with Forth, Inc’s Information Security Policies and Procedures.
  • Ensure that information Confidentiality, Integrity and Privacy is always maintained with processing information assets.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Communications, or related field required.
  • 10-12 + years of work experience including at least 3-5 years of managing, building or leading business analysis teams.
  • Must have demonstrable experience with building, scaling and operationalizing a business analysis function.
  • Must have demonstrable experience in leading teams of business analysts in developing SaaS platforms, ideally with experience in B2B and B2C environments.
  • Must have a good understanding of core AI concepts (models, prompt engineering, agents, etc) with the ability to think creatively on how AI can be applied to make the function more effective
  • Expert proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Office Suite/Google Enterprise, or related software programs.
  • Expert knowledge of working with modern project management methodologies, specifically Agile

This role is hybrid and requires two days per week in the office.
